What is GMATE+ ?

About the Device:

Gmate+ is an accessory to your mobile. Actually its a Bluetooth device which has a GSM- SIM in it wich is able you to make voice calls, sms and access the internet.It can be used on most Apple Devices such as iPad 1/2, iPod Touch 4, iPhone 3G/3GS/4G/4S/5 and Android devices via Bluetooth but you will have to jailbreak first and install Gmate client using Cydia for Apple devices(Detailed installation guide given below).

The GMate connects to the devices via Bluetooth, has it’s own internal battery which lasts about a day and a regular SIM card slot. The device charges via a micro-USB port.
Once your device is jailbroken, you will need to add the GMate App and connect both devices via Bluetooth. You then tuck away the GMate in your pocket or backpack while using the cellular functions. The device will still work fine even if you’re 10 m feet away from it.

If you don’t use  Apple products, you can still use the Gmate with an Android device (same principle and similar Android app is used).
Now another great thing for apple users is that if you have ipad touch and can’t afford the iPhone you can convert your iPad into a phone.

Installation:

Installation of Gmate app Under IOS:  

Requirements: You need an jailbroken iPod Touch before you can start.
Please note: Before you install the Apps make sure you have uninstalled previous versions of it.
1. Open Cydia and go to:  Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add
2. Add the following source to Cydia: http://m.skyroam.com/cydia
3. Open the source and Download/Install the Application: “Gmate”
4. If a message pops up during the download or installation process click “OK”
5. Restart the Device after the Installation is completed
SETTING UP THE GMATE FOR THE FIRST USE
1. Open the Gmate App
2. Go to: Connection State > Search
3. Search for a Bluetooth Device called “Gmate”
4. Connect to it and enter the password “1234″
You are now ready to use the Gmate with all of its functions

4. Install the App

Above table depicts the latest version of Gmate(Gmate+) and its  comparison with old one(Gmate).Gmate is communicated via bluetooth and it has its own battery which helps phone to its  battery making phones battery lasting longer. Gmate is a small, thin, lightweight, portable device which communicates with your phone via Bluetooth within a 10m range, so you can hide it in a pocket or bag.  The price range of this device is from $54-$99. I found this price range when I visited various websites selling Gmate.
Also there is one last thing I would like to tell you. There are many duplicates or copies of this device available in the market. But here are some tips which are helpful in finding real and fake.

Identifying real and Fake:

The Gmate client will ask for device verification to make phone calls both Incoming and outgoing calls.
Original Gmate- After the verification process, you will see this pop-up message “Congratulation, your Gmate has been verified successfully”
Fake Gmate- After verification. you will see this error message, ” Your Gmate can not be verified due to territory restrictions, please contact your seller immediately.”
So please buy from our authorized dealers! Don’t waste your P3000 for nothing. For those who bought counterfeit devices don’t tell us that we did not remind you for this.
