div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

For detailed information on how to manage T-Hub 2 contacts, refer to the T-Hub 2 Tablet user guide.
Where  do I go to manage my contacts?
Contacts can be created, edited, deleted from within the People application .
How do I get contacts from my mobile phone onto the Tablet?
Contacts can be imported/exported from and to mobile devices and other online accounts such as BigPond®, Windows Live, Gmail and Twitter.
How do I get the contacts to share across the T-Hub 2 Tablets and Handsets?
All contacts that are created on the handsets are shared between all T-Hub 2 devices that are registered to the T-Hub 2 Base Station or T-Gateway.
However only those contacts that are saved locally on the Tablet or saved in the BigPond account that you set up during the installation wizard will be shared across all T-Hub 2 devices.
As a consequence, any contacts stored in a Google, Facebook or any other 3rd Party account that you set up on your Tablet will not be shared across T-Hub 2 devices.
Does the contacts that are shared across devices automatically update when a change is made on one of the T-Hub 2 devices?
Yes, however it may take a few minutes. If the contacts is saved in the BigPond account set up during installation, the change will also be backed up online.

My contacts are not being downloaded from my BigPond account?
All BigPond accounts that are on the old BigPond email platform do not automatically synchronise their contacts with the T-Hub 2. Step through the following steps to set up contact synchronisation for legacy BigPond accounts.
Step 1: Log into basic.messaging.bigpond.com/basic/inbox.do from a computer.
Step 2: Select Contacts on the left hand side. This will open up the list of contacts.
Step 3: Check the box beside each of the contacts that are to be synchronised or select all of the contacts by checking the box beside Contact.
Step 4: Select Sync to mobile from the drop down box on the right hand side.
Step 5: On the T-Hub 2 Tablet, from Contacts select Menu then Display options.
You may want to check Only contacts with phone.
Step 6: Wait a few minutes and from the Tablet select Settings -> Accounts & sync, and select the BigPond account to trigger a synchronisation event. The Contacts should now be displayed.
Note: Any contacts associated with any account that is setup via Settings -> Accounts & sync, including BigPond accounts, will not be shared across T-Hub 2 devices.
How do I import contacts into my Tablet?
To import contacts from a mobile phone onto the tablet will differ based on the mobile phone model and operating system.
Refer to the user manual for the mobile phone for step by step instructions for exporting contacts as a vcard using Bluetooth.
Alternatively, download an application from the Google Play Store that can assist in copying contacts from one phone to another, e.g. Phone Copier from Compelson Labs.

How To Recover Or Repair Scratched CD/DVD

div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

Hello Friends.  Once it did happen to me that I got to retrieve a family photo and some documents from a CD which I have written a long time, but when I inserted the disk onto the CD-ROM, the system hangs or struck whenever I open the CD to browse it. But by adopting the following tips, I was successful in recovering most of the data from the scratched CD.
Here’s an easy home remedy, which might give you the desired results. Rub a small amount of toothpaste on the scratch and polish the CD with a soft cloth and any petroleum-based polishing solution (like clear shoe polish). Squirt a drop of Brasso and wipe it with a clean cloth.

Recover CD/DVD Using Softwares: There are many softwares available on the net, which enable the recovery of the CD data. BadCopy Pro is one such software, which can be used to recover destroyed data and files from a range of media.
Just a few clicks is all it requires to recover the disc from almost all kind of damage situation; be it corrupted, lost data, unreadable or defective.
DiskDoctors is another popular company, which offers both software and solutions to recover data from a scratched CDs and DVDs.

Manual method of recovering data from Scratched cd/dvd:

  • Always wipe the CD from the center outward with straight spoke-like strokes. Wiping CDs in circles will create more scratches.
  • Do not scratch the graphics layer as you cannot repair the disc.
HINT: Hold the disc up to a light with the graphics layer facing the light source. If you can see light thru the scratches at any point then the disc may be irreparable and or exhibit loading or playing errors.
  • Clean your Disc players lens regularly with a suitable product to ensure optimal viewing pleasure.
  • Make sure to use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean both sides of the disc. Wipe in a straight line from the centre of the disc to the outer edge.
  • If wiping with a cloth does not remove a fingerprint or smudge, use a specialized DVD disc polishing spray to clean the disc.
